Who Is the Woman Behind Connected Chic?

My name is Yvonne Jackson. I’m a 30-something techie who just happens to wear heels. I have spent the last 8 years of my career passionately pursuing a career within the digital marketing and technology space. Most recently as the owner of CoSolutions, then thr Digital Marketing Manager at Cintas, and an IOT project manager at Whirlpool Corporation.

Technology excites me. And as a woman in tech, this excitement motivates me to share my knowledge with others, especially women. I find it amazing that despite being the main buyer and caretaker in the home, very few women have a seat at the product design table. This thought led me to create Connected Chic (prounounced shēk, NOT chick lol). I wanted to show both women and the industry that there is value in the Internet of Things IF they look at it through a feminine lens- whether it’s a day in the life a young professional, the loving mother, or the fitness diva.
